is finally flourishing in his current role in WWE.
During an appearance on The Run-In on BT Sport, Finn Balor spoke about how he’s been getting a chance to show his creativity more recently. Balor says he felt held back in that regard for many years, but now he’s getting a chance to excel.
“A lot, and that’s something that was stifled for a lot of years with just the way things work, working for such a big company with so many different departments that you kind of have to keep happy. Everything from merchandise to TV to media, you have to keep all these departments happy, and sometimes I’d done that at the expense of my own happiness. That’s something that I’ve changed in recent years, and I feel like it’s helped me flourish.”
Balor also spoke about when Judgment Day started to click, feeling like Clash At The Castle marked a strong showing for the group.
“It’s hard to tell. I think Clash at the Castle. I think the buildup to that match especially, but Clash at the Castle and when we were all laughing, when it was me, Rhea and Damian laughing at Rey having just gotten a kick in the balls by his son.”
Finn Balor also spoke about changes to the WWE product and advocating for an edgier, gritter WWE product because he wants it to be authentic. Read more about how Balor feels like being overproduced leads to things not feeling authentic at .
